How YieldSense+™ works...

YieldSense+™ attaches in line with your long milk tube at each bail. YieldSense+™ autostart function means that there are no buttons to push or switches to pull; YieldSense+™ simply recognizes that milk flow has started and accurately measures the volume produced. YieldSense+™ utilizes full flow measuring technology meaning that milk flow is not disrupted due to complex moving parts or flow restrictions. Having no moving parts or wetted components eliminates the risk of costly and frustrating breakdowns.

Data from YieldSense+™ can be displayed via a simple User Interface display at bail which shows cumulative milk yield during the milking and changes to show fat and protein composition on milking completion.

When integrated to the DAL Herd Management system data generated by the YieldSense+™ meter is vastly improved by harnessing the power of more frequent data collection. Historical data for individual cows can be tracked and trends identifi ed. Individual animal data can be compared against herd averages to identify those cows which are producing the most.

How YieldSense+™ will benefit you?

Until now, you have had to do a herd test to obtain production information about the cows in your herd. It’s time consuming, costly and laborious. YieldSense+™ is a true 4 in 1 milk analysis sensor. Accurate and real time information is recorded every milking on individual yield, fat, protein and lactose ensuring that those animals requiring extra attention are quickly identifi ed. YieldSense+™ also provides daily information on plant wash temperature, flow rate and conductivity enabling any defects in the milking plant to be identified sooner.
